Comparison of Visual Simple Reaction Time Performances of Boxers and Wrestlers

Background: It is known that reaction time, which of great importance in terms athlete performance, one the most difficult sports performance parameters to develop. Reaction time Athletes may vary according sport branch development. Especially combat such as boxing and wrestling, it can directly or indirectly affect outcome competition. Aim: In this study, was aimed compare visual simple performances wrestling athletes. By comparing times boxers wrestlers, effects both trainings on were tried be determined. Methods: This research carried out with participation 30 male athletes between ages 14-17. held a total athletes, including 15 who have been licensed contestants for at least three years are still actively participating competitions. The heights participants measured wall-mounted stadiometer (Holtain Ltd. England), their body weights an electronic scale (Seca, Germany), Time device (Hubbard Scientific 6027). Data analyzed IBM Statistics (SPSS, ver. 22.0, Armonk, NY) program. Results: mean age group (N=15) 15.46±1.06, height 175.53±4.18, weight 61.00±8.03 23.66±2.99. 15.40±1.12, 170.46±4.29, 62.80±8.65 25.93±2.68.
